The Los Cabos Tourism Board today announced that they will now function under the name of The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau’s decision to change their name reiterates their mission to be a key resource for tourists, meeting planners and travel agents. The Bureau is the primary source for information on the destination including calendar of special events, hotel listings, tours and attractions, and all other essential offerings coming out of Los Cabos (see tours in Los Cabos). “The decision to become the Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau is a function of our organization’s goal to become an even more valuable resource to travelers,” says Gonzalo Franyutti, President of The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Los Cabos is a premier travel destination and this change signifies our commitment to provide visitors with the information they seek most when planning a leisure or business trip to our beautiful destination” (see attractions in Los Cabos). The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau also introduces the new website address, .visitloscabos.travel, in 2008. With the domain change to .travel, The Los Cabos Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has taken another important step to becoming recognized as a leading travel resource. This initiative gives consumers, travel agents and meeting planners greater confidence in travel planning with the standards set by search.travel. An industry-sponsored domain, search.travel ensures the legitimacy of all its organizations by imposing a strict set of criteria and requirements.
