 Leisure travellers in Mexico are always advised to be in contact with their tour operators so they can get all the information they need for fully enjoying their vacations, especially when the weather isn’t very good or when there are floods or any other natural disasters. Tabasco Region suffered from some floods and therefore there were many plans to help locals and tourists.
It was reported about 30cm of rain which fell in 48 hours in Villahermosa, the capital city of the state. Therefore, 400,000 more or less were affected.
Mexican authorities gave very good advices and they monitored the situation working very hard to meet the needs of every person in this state.
Cancun and Playa del Carmen, which are two excellent tourist destinations, also were in alert but these tourist areas were ok.
The Mexican government worked very hard to guarantee safety and therefore it is still one of the most favourite vacation destination in the world.
