Mexico’s country is making a huge investment to develop tourism in Huatulco.

Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa has confirmed Huatulco will receive an unprecedented investment of 54 million pesos, to invest in tourism facilities like roads, hotels (see Huatulco Hotels), restaurants, entertainment.

The Mexican Government planners in Huatulco set aside 50000 acres, moved the existing population to a neighboring town and formed the resort of Huatulco.
