In Queretaro’s downtown area you can visit various craft stores. Along 5 de Mayo and 16 de Septiembre you’ll see various shops and a famous outdoor market. This destination also has great shopping centers, such as Plaza Boulevares, Plaza de las Americas, Plaza del Parque and Galerias Queretaro. These malls have movie theaters, cafes, restaurants, clothing and shoe stores and jewelry shops. Be sure to check out La Cruz market, which offers many food stalls, and Escobedo, the city’s oldest market, where they sell a wide variety of items.
