MUSEO DE ARTE PREHISPÁNICO DE MÉXICO RUFINO TAMAYO Rufino Tamayo, who donated the building to house his collection of pre-Hispanic pieces from Maya, Zapotec, Toltec, Aztec, Totonac and Huastec cultures, one of the finest in the country. The fourteen halls of this museum, set in the former convent of Santo Domingo, display the different cultures that developed in Oaxaca, as well as a fascinating collection of jewels found in Tomb 7 in Monte Albán. MUSEO DE SITIO DE MONTE ALBAN The two halls provide an overview of the emergence and development of this archaeological site.
