Cabanas Copal is nestled in a small clearing in the tropical forest on top of a natural terrace which overlooks the most private beach in Tulum. Tha place has two cabanas with sea views, one double bed, and a sand floor. All bathroom facilities, toilet, sink, and shower are separate from the cabañas, in a common bathroom near the reception. All cabañas are equipped with mosquito nets for your comfort during the rainy season. You can enjoy many traditional Mayan treatments at the Maya Spa and fantastic regional cuisine in the restaurant. All cabañas are romantically candlelit in the evenings, as there is no electricity on the beach. Author: Luciana Márquez TulumPosted on Thursday 26 de March, 2009 - Tagged as Mexico Tourism, Tulum,
Tulum is a small town along the Riviera Maya, south of Xel-ha, and is the site of a Mayan fortress city, as well. The ruins are just north of town. It is a smaller site than others in the Yucatan. The Tulum Hotel Zone stretches for many kilometers along the beach down Punta Allen (see ocho Tulum), all the way to the Sian Ka’an Biopreserve. Downtown Tulum includes several restaurants and small hotels, a couple of eco-adventure agencies, an internet cafe and a bus station. Tulum can be reached by bus from Cancun in under three hours.
