Guelaguetza Festival 2009-Oaxaca

A huge cultural event in the Mexican festival calendar, La Guelaguetza involves re-enactments of legends and celebrates traditional music, dance, costume, craft and gastronomy from the eight regions in the state of Oaxaca. The Auditorio Oaxaca is the main venue. You are invited to be a part of this vibrant pageantry by taking a tour that will offer you a glimpse into a well-preserved tradition celebrated by the indigenous communities of Oaxaca Mexico, there are tow dates for this event:

Travelers need documents for trips to Mexico

 It is known that Mexico boasts all types of vacation destinations which appeal to national and international leisure travellers. Whatever your preferences, you will easily find a Mexican destination to enjoy the type of tourism that appeals to you the most.
Travelers are advised to bring their ID and get a Mexican travel visa so they can fully enjoy every day in any part of the country. Traveling in Mexico is an adventure in itself.
It must be said that it is easy to get a travel visa (FM-T). Passport and birth certificate (with a photo ID) are some requirements. Get to the Mexican Embassy or Mexican consulate to ask for more information so you can fill out a tourism information form and enjoy your vacation in this beautiful country.
If you are about to travel around Mexico in your own car, don’t forget to bring the title of the vehicle and ask a permit for the car. You must have a valid driving license.
There are many advises for tourists. The most important one is to be away of the laws so you won’t have any problem while on vacation. It is usually advisable to ask a travel tour operator for some help so you are guaranteed pleasant days having everything you need at your entire disposal.
