Mexico’s Celebrities: Paulina Rubio Weds

Posted on Wednesday 2 de May, 2007 - Tagged as Mexican Singers Paulina Rubio, Mexico Celebrities, Mexico Tourism, Mexico Xcaret,

Mexican pop star PAULINA RUBIO has wed Spanish businessman Nicolas Vallejo Nagera in a ceremony at an eco-tourism resort in Xcaret, Mexico. The ceremony was top secret and guests like Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz were told mobile phones and recording devices were banned from Monday’s (30Apr07) nuptials. As well as guests, more than 150 security guards were hired to patrol the grounds, making sure that Latino journalists who discovered the location of the wedding were kept from spoiling the ceremony. The wedding was reportedly postponed for over an hour after Rubio refused to walk down the aisle until paparazzi in helicopters flying overhead had left the area.Source:contactmusic.com
