Los Tastuanes is one of the most traditional festivals in the city of Zacatecas to be held from July 25 to 27. The festival is one of the Tastuanes recreating events it is one of the most important historical events of Zacatecas. In this event “Tastuanes” is a celebration that involves complex aspects dramatic theatrical, humorous, fun, dance and sacred ritual. There is a central character and another pair of old masked to be called indiscriminately the old and the old chinana, look Indian.
