The capital city of Villahermosa is located in the State of Tabasco, along Mexico's Gulf coast, about 530 miles from Mexico City via highways 180 and 150. With a population of just over half a million people, it has all the services you would expect in a big city, but has managed to retain its friendly, small town feeling.
