Curled up between the white sand that draws the crystalline beaches of the Caribbean Sea and the exhuberant tropical forest lie the enigmatic one you take care of Mayan of Tulum, the only one constructed next to the sea. It is located in the Yucatan Peninsula in the State of Quintana Roo, to the Southeastern of Mexico, in the North border of the reserve of the Biosphere of Sian káan. 145 km are located to the south of the cosmopolitan city of Cancún.Tulum is divided in three different areas, the Hotel Zone, the Town and the Archaeological Zone. In first are some of most spectacular beaches of the Caribbean coast; many even consider Virgins and it is distinguished by his simple architecture that demonstrates a deep respect by the medio.ambiente; their rustic cabins and small hotels were altogether constructed harmonies with the natural beauty of the environs.


The town of Tulum consists of a main avenue on which all the commercial activity of the same one is developed. The main economic activities of this group are fishes them, construction of palapas, rustic manufacture of crafts and furniture, among other activities.The old walled large city, erected in the top of a cliff of 12 meters with Vista to the Caribbean Sea, includes the vestiges of one of the most exquisite cities of the old Mayan world. Other important archaeological sites are close: Cobá, located to 42Km. to the northwest of Tulum and Chichen Itzá, that is to 159Km in the same direction.
